[Mac-users] Bluetooth Firmware Update 1.2 destroyed my Bluetooth module

I ran Bluetooth Firmware Updater 1.2.0, being careful to follow the 
instructions.  It completed without errors.

All seemed well for about 24 hours, but this morning my Bluetooth menu 
is crossed out and says "Bluetooth: Not available".  My Bluetooth 
preference pane has vanished.  Apple System Profiler shows no trace of 
the Bluetooth module on any of the USB busses or anywhere else.  It's 
as if my module as vanished completely.

I tried running the Firmware Updater again, to see if that would fix 
it, but it can't find the module!

I have a PowerBook G4 12" running Mac OS X 10.3.6.
