We are not much on paying for external services...very few consultants for
any reason. We figure if we cannot setup and manage the projects internally
we either have the wrong people involved or we are using the wrong tools. I
wish more shops that have the integration up and running would subscribe to
the Perforce Defect Tracking Integration discussion email group at
p4dti-discussion at ravenbrook.com.

Todd, I understand that one of our Partners has helped a customer with the
P4DTI integration. I do not know the details of what was done, just know
that the customer is very happy with what was done. Would Intuit be willing
to pay to have services work done? I am investigating the work that was
completed and will update you when I hear more.

Thanks,

John,

I seem to be getting a run around on my P4DTI questions so I thought I would
try the source. Our business unit is very interested in using the TeamTrack
integration with our Perforce version control solution. There is no doubt
that TeamTrack is a top notch scalable process management solution and is
our first choice for managing our development lifecycle and potentially
more. Our concerns are support of the P4DTI utility. Ravenbrook and
Perforce have both openly stated the responsibility is with Serena. Does
Serena have intentions of supporting the integration? Mark Talley has been
great answering my questions and helping configuring the example TeamTrack
database connected to a test instance of Perforce but I am not comfortable
moving this configuration into a production environment with official
support.
