[p4dti-discussion] Perforce Triggers checking for extended ASCII

Hello,

 

We started testing P4DTI with a dummy depot and have found that P4DTI
doesn't like extended ASCII characters when it tries to write to a
database. Is this a database configuration problem or a P4DTI problem?
Our test Bugzilla database uses UTF-8. Alternatively, has anyone ever
needed to write a bash script Perforce trigger for detecting extended
ASCII?
