[p4dti-discussion] Bugs and jobs with same numbers

Hi all,
We have a system where p4dti creates and maintains jobs named
"bugXXXX", where XXXX is the number of the bug in Bugzilla. While at
the same time some other scripts can create jobs named "jobXXXX" where
XXXX is an integer from ascending sequence (unrelated to the Bugzilla
bugs), and they do that via "p4 -s job -i <foo.txt". Those are also
automatically synced by p4dti to automatically create bugs.
It seemed to work correctly for years, but today I've noticed a
strange glitch: Seems like a fix for bugzilla bug Bug9931 (which was
synced from a script-created job named "job1028") somehow also got its
change list description attached to bugzilla bug Bug1028, even though
it (Bug1028) is synced to job named "bug1028".
Not sure if the above paragraph is understandable at all, but in any
way, is the dual-source bug creation method that we are using
something that should be avoided or is p4dti supposed to cope with
that normally?
Thanks,
Alen
